Two years under Coach Edgar Evans Jr. have reshaped the trajectory of Morehouse Golf. Facility upgrades — including a TrackMan hitting bay, a dedicated locker room, and a renovated weight room — have fueled measurable on‑course improvement. The team scoring average dropped from 324.6 to 308.9, culminating in a 4th‑place SIAC Championship finish after years at the bottom of the conference.
Expanding Opportunities
Our athletes now benefit from life‑changing exposure and professional development:
Current Priority: Bushnell Training Equipment Drive
We are raising $3,266 to purchase
Bushnell equipment
Six Tour V6 Shift Rangefinders
One Launch Monitor
This equipment must be secured by February 12, both to prepare for the upcoming season and to share our progress at the Candle in the Dark Gala.
Coach Evans has led significant external fundraising — and this drive gives our alumni, families, and supporters the chance to take ownership of the next milestone.
Your contribution, mentorship, or corporate partnership directly impacts the development of the student‑athletes.

There is a new golf scholarship fund set up for the young men in the Morehouse Golf Program, with 100% of your gift going straight to scholarships. The goal is that all the young men on the team to graduate debt free with a zero dollar balance. They are currently halfway to achieving that goal and with your support they can get there.
